I am currently working in a project since 1 year.Company A is my employer through whom I have my H1 visa .My I-797,I94 and visa stamp expired recently.
Two months before the expiry Company A applied for my H1 renewal which was approved and another Company B also applied for my H1 transfer to that company which has also been approved.
As long as the current project goes on I want to remain on the payroll of Company A but I want to send my passport for visa revalidation asap based on the H1 got from Company B.Company B has started the GC process for me.
Is this OK according to the law.Are there any legal issues involved.
