I am currently in US and have applied for my H1B extension, but still not received the same. I have completed the cap - 6yrs and the H1B extension is applied since my I140 is in appeal, so I should be getting a 1yr extension. I have to travel in mid April and I am planning to take only a one way flight since my H1B extension status is not known. My question is when I am in India or sooner if I get my H1 extension and I want to apply for visa revalidation, does this one way flight ticket be an issue. Also will it be considered as revalidation or new visa stamping. I had to get a new visa stamping appointment is longer than visa revalidation. How does the consulate differentiate revalidation from new visa stamping, should we show round trip flight tickets.
