Hello,
My Visa stamp expired in Jan 2000. After that I changed Employment for 3 times. I have never been out of status. I would like to go to Canada to get my new visa stamped.

1. Any experiences after April 1st where the Visa has been rejected.
2. Would there be any problem since it\'s been more than 2 years that my visa stamp has been expired.
3. What kind of questions are asked in the Interview.
4. What if they asked why do you required a stamp now, 2 years after the visa has been expired.
5. In 2001, I had an appointment for US consulate in Toronto, which I had to cancel due to personal reason. Is it ok if now I take the appointment in Montreal, since Montreal is closer to me than Toronto.
6. Any personal experience of visa revalidation in Montreal.

Thanks for your help in advance
Deepak

Hi,

My friend is in a similar situation and is planning to go to Canada for stamping. Could you please pass on any information, if you have, to sanz_08873@yahoo.com? I will, also, check this site and others for more information and will post if I find relevant info.

Thanks for your help. Good luck!

Mexico experience

I havent been to canada, but I been to Mexico (juarez) this may 3rd and got the visa. If all the relevant documents are available then they are posing no problem. My friend came with me and he got the visa also. We are on H-1 B. I met two more indian guys who got their F-1 visa revalidated.
