visa restamping questions in India

Hi,

I need someone's help and guidance with the following questions:

1. What documents are required if I go to India for restamping? I got my visa stamped through Company A and after that I changed two jobs.

2. The H1 on my passport is dated until Sep 2007. I came to US in Mar 2005. After changing jobs. the I-94 with the latest H1 approval is until 2009.
Is it legal to stay after Sept 2007?

3. My original H1 is from Kolkata. Can I go to Mumbai if I go to India for stamping.

#1 - Look at the consulate where you will be attending for visa interview

#2 - You can stay in the country legally after Sept 2007 based on new H1B approval with new I-94, but if you travel outside the country after that then you need to get the new stamp.

#3 - General answer is yes for revalidation, but there are limitations. You should check consulate website for latest info.
