Visa Requirment

I have my plastic card and national passport. I wonder if anyone knows whether i need to obtain a visa for germany and Holand. Anyone knows whether we need a visa to go there?

Did you check German and Holland embassy website. I am sure they've some info regarding US GC holders.

You do need a visa. It will cover 12 European countries except switzerland, which does not require visa for GC holders

Whether you need a visa for Germany and the Netherlands (actually for the EU as a whole, of which these two countries are members of) depends on what your current nationality is. There are certain nations (like the US and Canada) that do not require a visa when visiting the EU because of reciprocal privileges. Nationals of other countries like China and India need visas to visit the EU even if the visitor has a US/Canadian permanent residency.
