Hi,
I am a Phd indian student in US (since abt 3yrs). My visa has expired and I need to get it renewed. I do have a valid I20 though, by which i am still in US.
I want to go to india and get my visa renewed and was wondering if anyone could tell me if i have to get it done only at a particluar visa station under your jurisdiction or can i go to any of the us embassies in india/?
if so, when i tried to take an appintment online, I was not able to opt for indian resident in US option (as it is disabled completely)
Also, can I categorize this into emergency and get it done in dec before my school starts again in 2 weeks?
Any help is really appreciated.
