My question is very simple, I'm trying to stay here in the U.S., I want to know what my options are in terms of visa. I am from France, I've been in the US for four years now...
Also, my friend back in France opened his own company, I am helping him with it, and I am planning on going back there eventually to help him develop the company. I know it can help obtaining some other types of visa.
Being in Marketing, I am trying to gather as much knowledge as I can here in the U.S (the country of marketing) before heading back to France.
Here's a brief outline of my visa background:
September 2009 - December 2009 : moved to the US for an internship, got a J1 intern visa
January 2010 - December 2010 : Studying at Pace University where I obtained a BBA - under a F1 visa
March 2011 - March 2012 : Worked for two different companies (in the marketing field) using my OPT
April 2012 - September 2012: came back to France for two months, came back here as a tourist to look for jobs
October 2012 - October 2013: Currently working for the same company under a J1 visa that I obtained through my school back in France, the same one that I've got my first J1 through. This was the school I got the credits from and that I transferred to Pace University, but I've never finished this school, I had a three month internship left that I turned into a 1 year long J1 that I'm currently using.
My current J1 (intern) expires in October, I am trying to find a way to stay and work.
I am looking into EB3, H3 and F1 + CPT visas, but I believe there should be other options, especially since I've accumulated three years of work experience in my field.
If there's anyone here willing to help, that'd mean a lot.
As many people here on this forum, this is a very.. stressing matter.
