this is very bad. I called USCIS Nebraska and they said visa numbers would get alloted quarterly and now there is no visa numbers available and you have to wait until April. I told her that my visa number is available from 1st March and how come you are saying she said that all gone. now you have to wait.

I don't understand it that according to state dept. visa are available from 1st march and they allocate quarterly???. next month April they would say visa numbers are not available for your priority date.

I really got frustated about it. I lost hope of GC. really USCIS and visa dept. both are not work properly and screwing life of many........

Must be a novice CSR.
It is the 2nd working day of March. How can they run out of Visa numbers.
Try calling again.PD just became current and you are early filer RD of 2004.
 
I really hope that this is not true. How come they approve other EB3 applicants according to trackitt.

I remember that during last summer boom when PD became current they were waiting for visa numbers to approve applications that became current.
May be this is what she meant, they are waiting for visa numbers from DOS?

My PD became current this month too.
 
I called 3 times and got same reply. other thing processing is random so people of LATER PD also would get approved before earlier PD's. bottom line its mess there in systems, as well as those working there in visa dept and USCIS offices thats why last year the mess happened they made current and later try to close but can't due to lawsuit.

next month USCIS would say your date is not current thats what happened last time. its complete MESS !!!! I really lost hope of GC.

I am also hoping visa numbers unavailable is not true but one thing I found my friend who is having same PD and RD I have got approved on Monday itself. so visa numbers were allocated and in 2 days it got over................. like H1 they say it got over in 1 days itself and that could be possible in AOS visa numbers too....

Looks like mke just posted about approval from noon today.
I am hoping you had a bad CSR as well coz it would surely s*ck.
 
may be they just allocated available visa numbers to applicants based on the order of PD and I-485 receipt date. May be you just need to call again and see what's going on.

today again I called 5th time and got reply that everything looks good and your application is waiting for visa numbers to be available. I told them as per state visa bulletin they say its available from 1st march for my date and she said I don't know then I asked could be my priority date has been entered wrong can you check. she tried to check but she can't bcos mine case is transfered from California so she can't access it. its BS. She told me call next month could be visa numbers would be available.

my patience is drying up. I can't imagine how come USCIS saying visa numbers are not available. this is BS.........

I think all the visa numbers are being allocated to applicants whose fbi name check is pending for more than 180 days.
 
I am also in the same boat. I have a priority date of dec 2000, but visa number is not allocated to me. I called Texas Service Center like 50 times, no use. what they are saying is they will clear all FBI name check pending cases by March 30 . then they will think of people like us

mine NC got cleared last October so I was expecting to get my case processed this month and now this shit they are telling.

this is completely ridiculus. I can't imagine how pathetic their system, processes and people are there..............

I got stucked for NC for 3 years and now new memo came and they are processing cases later than me. this is completely unacceptable........

Even I am stuck in Name Check for 2 years. my name check got cleared in Aug 2007. so from that time onwards I am waiting for my approval. I talked to my lawyer and asked him to call TSC. so he is doing it today. will update everyone on my case.

There no or very few approvals yet for eb3 india this year so far. India should have at least 800 visa for this quarter. When did they approved??
