WTF is going on? Sorry, I just need to rant.
The attorney is going to file an inquiry next week. Should I write to the senator?

It's actually my wife's case. The last time she called, they said she has passed FBI name check. It was like a yr ago. I am so f***ing pissed by INS now.

Mine is hte same case too. However i see a commmon factor amongsst ourself here. We all have receipt date in 2005. Mine is 2/3/2005. So in addition to priority date INS must be considering receipt date as processing criteria. Probably they want ot make sure each person spends enouh time with a employeer.

That is a good hypthesis (a comforting one for us:-), but I don't think USCIS follows any logic. I have friends who filed I-140/I-485 concurrently round about the time I filed. They received their cards long time back.
