visa issuing expires before I get mine

We did interview with my husband.We were dv winners 2010 and my husband was main applicant.my medicals delayed and i'll get the medical the second week of Occtober.Is there something we can do after getting my medicals so that I can get my visa or is there something my husband will do when he will land in the USa so that I join him later?Please advice because we really had to go together but the medicals has failed us.

i read from your previous posting concerning the same matter that the Consular officer requested for you and your husband to go back to the embassy on 8th. I suggested that you should go back to the embassy just as he requested.
