visa issued but called for interview again

hi i have visited the chennai conusluate in sep 2007 for h1 b and was given a 221g blue slip later recieved a letter from the conslulate asked to attend interview when attend again asked to submit papers trough vfs later recieved again letter asked to attend interview,got my visa stamped in july 2008. now the situation is when my spouse went for interview for h4 they have given pink slip and said admin porcess and when i was abt to leave to us on 31 of this month i got mail from chennai consulate to attend an interview on any monday before 9 am with all the documents including 156 157 and visa supporting documents situation this mail has come from chennai AFU .when a visa is issued why does these things occur, i am in fixed situation, dunno wht to did anyone go trough this

This is an unlikely scenario, but the consular post might have discovered that the visa was issued in error. If they asked you to attend the consulate, you should do it without fail. Please make sure that you carry all evidence with you. Good luck.
