Hello all...
We got married in July 2010 and filed the whole package (i-130, i-485, i-795) in August 2010. The work permit came and I got my fingerprint appointment in October 2010. But we still haven't heard anything about the interview or received any appointment date for that. Is that normal? We filed from New York and it says online "Your case is being processed at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location." I'm worried why this is taking so long. First I thought they are just very busy but then I find out about a couple who filed two months after us and are already having their interview next month. I thought they were suppose to process applicants in the order received...Does anybody have any guidanse is this wait normal or what could be causing this? Has anybody filed around the same time from Ny area? Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thank you so much!!
