visa for my fiancee- I am not a USC

Hello,
My fiancee wants to visit me, we both are indian citizens and I am on my H1B visa for almost a year now. I think the only visa she can get is B2 (visitor) visa,
My question is, can I give her the sponsor's letter and mention in that she is my fiancee. We will get married in december and then I would like to bring her on H4, will the visitor visa which will be valid in december cause any problems in her getting the H4.

If I cannot sponsor her, what are the other options.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

In fact, in case you sponsor her and mention her as your fiancee, she may not get the B-2 visa.

These days it is difficult to get B-2 just for any purpose. In fact consulates, specially in asian countries, are rejecting even tourist visas with silly questions such as why you want to visit only US, there are other countries, why don't you visit them.. haha.

Though she can try getting a B-2 on her own, but without any purpose it may be difficult.

She can also look for an independent visa such as H-1, F-1 etc.

applying for a B visa and having it denied will make all future visa applications very complex. as you are still on a h1, i figure you have some more years you'll be forced to stay on a visa. don't make your life complex. get married and apply for a h4. if your wife can't wait, then get married earlier. do not try to do a "fake" marriage just for visa, the guys at consulate are smart, they'll see through it.

i know my advice sounds rather dire, but you really don't want to get into any kind of trouble with the consulate. h4 is a very simple visa, don't mess it up.

if your wife really really wants to come to the us, then she should try for a L-1 or H-1 visa. If she can get funding form a US university, F-1 is a possibility as well. Or maybe work for a company who will send her to US on a B-1 visa.

DO NOT TRY B-2 visa. They are known to reject simply because somebody is marriageable age.
