My Employer filed a H1b ext back in October of 2003, we received an RFE in early Jan 2004 to which we responded back in Mar 2004 . The decision was to be expected between 120 to 180 days according to the posting from USCIS . Given the approching expiry date of my visa , I decided to file the same reviewed application at the canadian border(as a canadian citizen) and was granted an extension by an immigration officer at the border. However , i recently visited the US immigration web site and foun that my original application is still showing as PENDING. Will this have an impact on my new visa? What should I do? Please help or share any similar experience. Thanks!
