Visa exemption for a landed immigrant

Dear All,

I am a landed immigrant in Canada (on a Jordanian Passport), however I
had my PR card sent to a friend in Canada and still did not get it.

I need to travel to Canada quickly (for few days), as I have also
British Passport, can I use it to enter Canada (VISITOR VISA
EXEMPTIONS).
