My sister in law has her visitor's visa application denied in Mumbai this morning. She is divorced and has sole cusotdy of her 12 year old son who is in a special needs school in Gujarat. I am an american born citizen and my husband and I would like to have her come and visit. The grounds of her rejection were that she is a divorcee. She has definate ties to india in terms of her job and son. Can someone give us advise on the best way to proceed, we are very discouraged and need some direction. Thank you.
