Visa Bulletin Fallout - EB-2 India Retrogressed

The Title says it all. Looks like the wait got even longer for us.. this is such a maze... when the visa number is current, the name check isn't, so you wait. and then suddenly there is another retorgression and you wait again.

This is a pretty sad day- EB2-India has retrogressed by 6 months.

What are you talking about? It was unavailable for 2 months - now it is available for some folks. How is that retrogression?

It is not the new fiscal year yet, is it?
 
1) This is the start of the fiscal year
2) It was 01Jan03 in July before the visa number became unavailable. Now it has been moved back to 15Jun02 according to the October Visa Bulletin.

In other words, EB-2 India has been retrogressed by over 6 months.

Man, it's so frustrating - NAMECHECK DEMON!

From here on - only one thing you need LUCK...

With the namecheck completion date fluctuating (re-initiating after expired namecheck) and Cut off Date fluctuating....it's gonna be just pure LUCK that both of these coincide and then you get to the I-485 approval!

This rollercoaster ride is thanks to the LABOR BACKLOG....
So, after Sep 30, 2007 - when all backlog is eliminated or earlier.....

the ride is gonna stop being bumpy
but just gonna be - long and hard!
