I was told that my case was on hold for visa availability & that it may be available next month.

Is the per country visa quota applied on a monthly basis ?

was your case ever assigned to an officer, or it was assigned to officer and then put on hold ?

It seems like an office reviewed it and put it on hold.
Since the dates are current I wonder why they have to wait for visa availability !
