I got an appointment for my parents online on Nov 2nd at the TTS website for Feb15 2005 at the Chennai consulate. I never got a confirmation email even though I have a confirmation number and I have printed my confirmation receipt.

Now I read on a website that I needed to send the paperwork to the Chennai consulate as soon as I got them the appt. Is that true? I did not send any. I assumed that they just take it with them to the appt.

If I do need to send the paperwork prior to the appointment,
1. What is the address i should have sent it to? Where can I get more information?

2. Is it too late now for their feb15th appt?

3. Did you get a confirmation email from the TTS website after your appt was confirmed online. If yes, can I see yours as a sample?

Thanks very much. I really appreciate all your help.

I don't think you need to send documents chennai consulate. Send them to your parents along with your printed reciept and they have to take them to the consulate for visa interview. Thats what I ded with my mother-in-law. My mother-in-law was attending for visiting visa.

For visitor's visa application via web (TTS), you'll not receive any other confirmation other than the confirmation number at the end of the online application. You'll not receive any email from TTS/consulate. With regards to the documents and such, everything has to be taken in-person to the consulate on the date of the interview. Of course, you'll have to send the printed online confirmation to folks that will be attending the interview. I had fixed the appt online for my inlaws from Boise, ID and had sent them all relevant documents. They successfully received their B2 visa in October.
