Visa Appointment - website crashes

HI;
Trying to take an appointment for the B visa at VFS, but the site keeps crashing when I entered my passport number with alpha numeric chars.

But when I remove the alpha numeric chars the passport numbers are not matching. Any one else have the same issue?

Hi... I am getting the EXACT same problem. Does your visa receipt number has a letter before the 9000xxx number? How long ago did you pay the fees in HDFC bank? It is supposed to take 2 business days for the receipt number to get activated. We have paid the fees on 2nd March which is already past 3 business days now. I tried for my mom and dad separately and both of them are getting the same error. Should we contact HDFC or VFS or who? Please let me know if you find something. The VFS service is really disgusting (so as TTS)
