Hi,

My Friend has taken visa appointment date on her current PP which is getting expired on 3rd Dec2005.Her visa appointment date is for Jan 2005.
Now the Visa stamp date will depend on validity of PP.After 3rd Dec, they will apply for new PP in USA.So now once they get the new PP

1.Can they change or make modifications in their PP details which they have mentioned while taking their appointment.
2.Will there be any problem for her??
3.Does she need to inform Embassy or TT services or during interview she can take both her Passports.
Please help with these quetsions!

Many Thanks,
Mona

well, there is no need for a new passport as long as the passport is valid for 6 months from the day you appear for visa interview. Passport expiry has nothing to do with your visa dates as logn as its not expiring in less than 6 months time. Once the passport expires you will need to carry your old passport with the new passport. expired passports does not invalidate the valid visa's.

Thanks a ton, just one more question, they want to renew their PP as then they will have the visa stamped.

Now how can update their information on TT service...
Does she needs to update the information at TT services or can just take her new PP along with the old one.

any information on how to change PP details will really help.
Will the changes create any problems for her stamping!!!

Any respond willl be highly appreciated!!!
Many Thanks!!!!!!
