any help would be greatly appreciated...my wife and i have been married for 8 years. we got married in this country...we have a kid who was born in this country also...unfortunately my wife had to go through a voluntary departure because she overstayed her visa, she worked (paid her taxes withe the use of TIN) she didnt do it in purpose, we just didnt know any better...she was going through an aos (actually her papers were still with the DOL)...her lawyer told her that it was ok for her to stay because of the aos (unfortunately she wasnt according to INS)...so to cut the story short, shes back in her home country for 4 years now...got my GC 2 years ago, and now we are in the process of re-applying a visa for her to re-enter the country with my daughter...we filed all the necessary papers to the us embassy and just waiting for her interview schedule...my questions are: what are the chances that she is going to get approved for a visa and another one is, anybody out there going through the same experince as we are?...thank you in advance...

For how long she overstayed, what visa she has applied for, in which country she has applied for as some of the us embassies abroad are more flexible than others.
