Visa and marriage issue

i got marrried last yr in gurdwara with proper rituals.
he was married earlier & says that he has anulled the marriage, his ex wife is married & has kids.
they anulled the marriage in email .
His father did chit fund fraud & died or killed .
mother & uncle where in jail. his mother was underground for few years now she is out on bail.
he is only son & mother in india.
he is missing under india law since he fled india 10+ yr bak.
he will be applyig for his citizenship in 2 yr.
he had told me all truth before i thght he was genuine
has track of every penny he spent & also record of what he did where & when.
credit score is 800
issue is that he has everythng under his aunt & uncle here (caretakers)
after marriage he kept aloof from me & nt talk. we gt into fites many times.
i became emotional, cry & yell coz of the silence. he approached my family 3 times & says i want divorce but tey calmed him down he said he wants an affidavit that if anythng happens to him or me im responsible but somehw thngs patched up & v still live togther but as always he treats me like a dumb woman & not talk.
im asking him to get married in court & he is like dont wry we are legally married in temple. my visa status is h1 & i wrk in his office. i have filed for my gc based on my mom, its been 4 years since we filed, i have showed that im over 21 yrs & single she is completed her fingerprinting for citizenship last week & the lawyer said i can chnge my status from daughter of gc to citozen & then get married on paper. he is planning to buy a house, dnt knw what 2 do. his relatives here r in debts, tey kind of smartly do some dirty money laundering tricks in a smart way. wat 2 do .

My husband father did chit fund fraud & died or killed, where I m clueless as I’m not aware of what is the real thing that happened to his dad
His mother & uncle where in jail. His mother was underground for few years now she is out on bail.
He is only son & his mother in India and now since she is out on bail, has applied for a passport and awaiting visa to come here.
He is missing under India law since he fled India 10+ yr back so now how can she be sponsored by him?
He will be applying for his citizenship in 2 yr.

the issue is that he has everything under his aunt & uncle here who happened to be his caretakers and they are like typical Indian in laws who play safe with him and put us down because their business is not doing well and everything is under their name. Also if anything god forbids happens to him they will put the blame either on me or someone else due to his background and I don’t know what the deal with these relatives is.

I have filed for my Green Card based on my mom, it’s been 4 years since we filed, I have showed that I’m over 21 yrs & single she is completed her fingerprinting for citizenship last week & the lawyer said I can change my status from daughter of Green card to citizen & then get married on paper. He is planning to buy a house, don’t know what 2 do. His relatives here are in debts, they kind of smartly do some dirty money laundering tricks in a smart way. What 2 do? He ignores me every time and is a smart player. he laughs and jokes with everyone else and tries to tease me since I’m here on his mercy of my h1 and knows that since we belong to a respectable family he tries to play with my emotions. How should I try to set things in my favor legally?
 
But we have not yet shown our marriage and not yet registered our marriage. I consulted a lawyer who said its better to keep it till her visa category changes IE, wen my mother gets her citizenship.
Also how should i protect myself from this marriage issue?
