Violation of f-1 status and inadmissibility

Does violation of an f-1 visa mean that you are inadmissable? I violated my status, filed for reinstatement but was denied and therefore asked to leave which i did before my deadline. The letter the uscis sent me clearly states that i can return to the u.s. as a student if i pleace

yes you ca return, but you will have to prove that you will not violate it thistime, so there is a lot of discretion on the part of the consular office in issuing an F1 visa
