My RD is Jan2002 and I did my second FP on July 25 and the online got updated with the result on July 29. It is over 2 months now since I completed my second FP. I have been seeing some movements like approvals and RFEs for people whose second FP results are not updated online.
Any guess about my case? assigned or not? It is also more than 20 months now for me. Should I start worrying and contact the congressman , senator? Please, shed some light on this, friends.......................
 
Eery case is different. I can't predict an exact date of your approval. You did 2nd FP in July. Doens't matter which day you did fp. Go back to your notice(if you still have it), look at the scheduled date. 1.5 months from that date is the approximate day they will look at your case, not the day you did your 2nd fp.
Even though we prefer to do 2nd fp earlier, doesn't mean they know we did the fp. Actually, they don't.

Probably your case is under review. If my guess is right you will hear some thing in 15 days time.

I'm sure that is not true, I know people whose 2nd FP is past more that 2.5 months and yet no update in msgs, no RFE.
 
Since ur FP2 was updated online, I guess your case should have been with officer around that time. [If FP2 is not updated online, after having done it, it isn't with the officer..] and it usually takes 60-90 days after FP2 for approval...Most of the cases it's around 60days..!! Since 60days is Sep29 for you, I guess u have to wait for 2 weeks and I hope you would hear something sooon...!!!
Just my guess on the whole thing..!

Did my FP2 7/12/03[ONline not updated] and approved 9/17.
Hence a FP2 of 7/29/03 should be hearing soon in 1-2 weeks..

That theory hold good in mine..Scheduled 7/31/03[did early 7/12] and approved 9/17/03-->1.5 Mos..!!

Can other 2nd FPer's confirm this to help other waiting FP2's?

congress man involvement may or may not help you . They can send another enquiry. This may trigger new development on your case like approval or RFE.
