Hi All,

A few days ago, I posted a question in this group on whether one could travel to Canada without the physical card (with the temp stamp on the passport).

Well, yesterday me and my wife crossed the border to go to Vancouver and returned back to US without any problems. The officer at the border checked the stamp and let us back in US.

Did you go to Canada for PR stamping or general pleasure trip? If it is PR trip, have they PR stamped your passport?

Went on Pleasure trip

We went to Seattle to visit family and from there drove down to Vancouver. Vancouver, is a great place. You should all go there after getting your GC.

do you need Visa?

So as a green card holder ( or stamp on your passport) do you need Visa to go to either Canada or Mexico?

I am not sure about Mexico though.
