Victimized by the new NVC procedure: Progress Check

Share/Discuss progress of the new NVC procedure

I-140 AD - 08.20.2002
NVC case created - 09.13.2002
NVC sent letter asking for CP confirmation - 09.23.2002
Mailed the letter back to NVC - 09.27.2002
NVC received the confirmation - 10.04.2002

As per the new procedure effective dtd 10.01.02

NVC sent fee bill - 10.14.2002
Fee bill received from NVC - 10.28.2002
Mailed the fee bill alongwith the Cashier Check to St. Louis - 10.29.2002

Waiting for the Cashier Check to be encashed.

Has anybody received P3 after the new procedure in place and how long did it take to receive P3 from NVC, after the cashier check was encashed by St. Louis.

Looks like the new procedure is defeating the whole purpose of getting GC thru CP route.

CPers please chime in.

I am in the same boat and next in line

I sent the visa fee bill to St. Louis on 6th and waiting fot the next phase. Guessing it might take two to three weeks for NVC to send p3 to my lawyer.

I bet your check will be encashed by this weekend. :rolleyes:

I checked with the bank and my checks are not encashed yet. I would appreciate if you could keep me posted with your progress.
