VFS Locations in India and Documents to be submitted for CP

Hi,
I read on some website that we have to submit all the documents again to VFS location before the interview. Can any one tell me about it.
I am in the middle of CP for my dad. I just sent in the iv packet to NVC. Waiting for the interview letter.
Please help me.
