VFS appt - Wrong information on current resident in US or India...urgent

Hello,

I am current H1b visa holder in US and planning to get re-stamping in India (due to company change).

While booking for an appointment, it gives you an option as to whether you are a current resident of India or US. I mistakenly chose India

Will this be an issue?

Kindly advise as my appointment is next week.

You can override any information at the consulate. As long as you selected the correct consulate (as per jurisdiction) you are okay.
