Very Worried: 2nd RFE

I am a Dec 2001 case. I had recieved one RFE in July of last year to which I had responded in Sept.

I thought I would get approval now but just got email from USCIS about 2nd RFE. What are the usual chances of getting two RFEs?

Is it possible that case officer is taking revenge for my contacting Congresswoman? :(
 
Wait for RFE. If same RFE than you can maybe guess "Revenge" :)

Jokes aside. I don't think its revenge. I got approved very early (at least faster than a lot of folks who did 2nd FP) in spite of my contacting local congressman.
 
My first RFE was for Waiver of J1 2 year home stay requirement.


I will post details of second one as soon as I get the details. I think maybe it is for Employment Letter, tax returns and stuff.

Is there a problem if current salary is less then amount mentioned in Labor? I had filed labor during 2000 boom and had to file an inflated amount. My current slary is about 20% lower.

At least you see the light at the end of tunnel. I do not see even that.

They do not issue as many employment RFEs as they used to. Could be something else. Just wait and see.
 
Revenge Case

Even my Lawyer thinks so.

Turns out the FBI had cleared my name check in December 2002.

Got an RFE in July 2003, submitted paperwork, the INS sat on it for one year and then they send me a second RFE. :mad:
