Very Very Urgent!!! - Question on Change of Status H4-H1B

Hi,

I applied for Change of Status from H4 - H1B.
I have been H1 approved without I-94.

a) What is my current status? Does it change to H1 or Do I remain on H4?
b) Should I leave US immediately for visa stamping, so Can I stay in US till sometime?
