Hi,

I am from detroit and just taken the infopass appointment.Unfortunately didn't not note the confirmation number or 5 digits code.Now I want to cancel this appointment.To cancel this appointment it's asking me 5 digits code or confirmation number.I am not able to find the contact number to cancel the appointment.Please tell me how to cancel this appointment.I really appreciate your info.
 
If you don't have the 5 digit #, you can't cancel it.
If you don't show up, your appt. is automatically canceled.
 
Folks, I'm in a strange situation. I need your help again!
Here's my status :

I'm on I-485 Pending status now. Working on EAD and been here in the US for 9 years.

My priority date is Nov 2002 filed with Nebraska Service Center. Based on the case status on USCIS website - I'm current right now. On inquiry with USCIS I was told my case is stuck in the FBI background check and has not been cleared yet.

Now here's my situation.
Can I marry someone who's not a green card holder or a citizen and file for green card for her? I have a proposal from an F1 who's in the US and would like to clarify this issue before I go ahead with the marriage.

Will I be able to file for her and will she receive GC at the same time I do?

Someone please help!
 
Yes -- it is best to file for her GC BEFORE your GC gets approved -- given that, fbi blackhole might work in your favor !

As long your 485 is pending before you get married (& apply for her 485), you'll be fine.
Approval may not come at the same time - but again that depends on how much elapses from her filing to your approval.
 
Hi Thanks a lot for the info. What form should I file and what should I file as.

So she wouldn't get the green card at the same time as I do? How long will it take..any idea?
