I have a very urgent question about my I-485. I filed I-140-NIW in August 2003 and I-485 in April 2004 (my spouse's in October 2004). My I-140 was approved in April 30, 2005. My question is:
I changed job (postdoc from one university to another) in July 2004. It's less than 180 days since I filed my I-485. Because I filed the NIW on my own (with an attorney) instead of by the employer. I heard that, for NIWs, it's not limited by the 180 day rule. Is this true? I sincerely need your suggestion!
