very urgent need help -- new H1 petition approved after 4 year stay on L1

Hi,

I spent 4 years on L1 . While I was in USA in 2004 , My L1B visa got expired on sep 2004 for which I got extension for L1A till Sep 2006. I came back to India in Feb 2005 and applied for H1 . My H1 petition has been approved . Now I am planning to go back to USA on new H1 in MArch 2006.my question is
1. will i be eligible for 6 years on H1?
2. If no , then how can i make sure that my new H1 is valid for 6 years ( if possible ) , is the only way out file for new H1 ??
Please help as it is very urgent

H & L visa clock is reset when a person spends more than 365 days without discontinuity outside US.
You can get H1 visa after Mar 06 for 3 years which may be extended for additional 3 years.

thanks a lot for the reply.
I read some where that you need to file for new H1 petition only after you have completed 1 year away from USA.
Could you pls throw more light on this if you know something.
