Hi Friends

I have a urgent issue to ask . My H1B stamp was expired on 06 Feb 2003.
It will be one year old 06 Feb 2004.
I do have new H1B approval and i am now very confused that should i send my
passport for stamping as it took 3 months and by the time they start process my application , my visa stamp expiry date will be more than a year.

Secondly, my special registration anniversary is due from 20 Jan to Ist Feb 2004 so if i dont get the passport by that time then can i extend my registration deadline ?

Thanx

sunny

If your passport reaches for revalidation before your visa expiry is more than one year, you are OK.

As for special registration I am not sure, but I think if you tell them that you have sent your passport for visa stamping they would extend the date, I don't think that should be a problem either, call them and find out. Don't tell them that you didn't send your passport, tell them that you already sent the passport but you are not expecting to receive it by the date you have to do the registration.
