Hi all,
I am facing a serious issue -
1) I got my first H1 (was on H4 before) from employer A in Nov'04.
2) Now I got a project offer from 'B' and I went to join the project, but had to quit in 2 days for personal reasons. Now employer B is threatning me to come back to the project or they will write a letter to INS saying my resume was fake and that's why they want to withdraw the H1 petition. Whereas the "truth" is they (employer B), by mistake, sent the wrong resume with H1 petition (the one they sent to the client showing more exp than I really do). What I had sent them for H1 petition was a different one (with actual experience etc.). I even have a soft copy of the email I sent them with my original resume.
Now my questions are:
a) Can he really send that letter to INS?
b) What will its impact be as I don't want to work with B anymore (due to abuse and threats) and want to transfer with some other company (which I am still trying to find)?
c) Shud I be afraid and succumb to B's pressure to re-join the project (which I really don't want to!)?
I will really appreciate any suggestions...pls..
