Very Strange RFE !!!!!

I recently recieved an RFE for my 140 application, I called my lawyer today about the details of the RFE and he mentioned that they want my bachelor's degree to be evaluated. This is such a strange RFE. Has anybody ever receieved this RFE in 140 stage? What does this really mean? Should I be nervous?

Your RFE is very very simple.
Some companies who do the evaluation send your documents to them.

Thats not strange at all. If your degree is not same as the one mentioned in LC, generally your lawyer will do the evaluation (thru some agencies) while applying for I-140. In your case it looks like it did not happen, so the RFE.

It's simple and nothing to worry !

One of my friend had got the same RFE in June. His attorney did his education evaluation and replied to the RFE with details. Although the information is not that critical it is certainly a show stopper, but you should consider yourself lucky. My friend got his approval exactly 45 days from the time he provided the details.

Thanks for all your comments. I guess I was worried because:

1. I have a 4 year engineering in comp sc degree, plus 4 year experience when the LC was filed. Since I was filed in EB3 all should be set.

2. Secondly, it is a little disconcerting that they need to do an eval in 140 stage. What happened when the labor was cleared? I guess BCIS has it's own strange ways.

I guess from your posts I should not worry too much about this? I was a bit taken aback cause this was the least of the causes for and RFE I was expecting.
