Went to Lilavati today for medicals:
Took an appointment for today (a convienient date for me and my spouse).
Went to the VISA section where a sweet lady Sylvia greeted us, gave us a basic form to fill and checked details-PP #, interview letter etc.. , then she stamped the interview letter with a lilavati stamp, paid Rs. 1500/-.
1. BP, pulse, height and weight taken.
2. X-rays taken - this removes all the burden for the PPD test which is 99% positive in developing nation residents (also inaccurate as per recent reviews).
3. Blood collected for labs HIV etc....
4. Recalled at 10.30 to meet with Dr. Milan Sangha - No strip search, just basic Q's and out in 2mins (V. sweet lady).
5. Since I had not received MMR in the past 10 yrs, I had to take one: Rs. 66 + 50 for administering it.
6. Reports ready at 2.30 PM (Anyone can collect it).
The whole process was so well streamlined, extremely skillful nurses for the blood collection and MMR shot.
Got to visit their famous 'Cafe Ritazza" a state of the art cafe with tons of different coffees and foodstuff: all top quality.
Would definitely recommend to everyone.
