I changed my address in June 2004. Then my LUD changes for 3 consecutive days in July 7/6, 7/7 &7/8. After that a silent period. Now I just saw that my LUD is updated to 8/9. Status is still the same.
Should I be optimistic that something is going to happen.

Thanks for all your input & good luck in the GC mission

My dates are pretty close ...

I-140 AD 04/2003
I-485 RD 05/2003
FP1 03/24/2004

485 LUD changed today along with EAD approval. Hope something's in the air ...

Both

If I'm correct, you are needed to do both ... submit AR-11 and call USCIS 1-800 number.

you need to do both

You need to send completed AR11 and also call the cust service center (1-800-375-5283) and update address. It is a USCIS requirement that you notify USCIS officially by submitting AR11 within 10 days after you move. However, this will not update the address on your pending applications like I-485, I-140 etc and as such you have to call the 1-800.... number and update your address by referring to all the case numbers that are in pending status.

My Experience on LUD Change

Guys,

My LUD changed on 7/15 and 7/16 and approximately after 1 week I got our FP2 notices.

My details:
140 AD...... 12/12/2003
485 ND........2/18/2003
FP1............3/19/2003
1st EAD...... 3/24/2003
2nd EAD......3/24/2004
AP..............May 2004

LUD changed twice on 7/15, /7/16
FP2- Done ........ 8/4/2004

GC2005, My lawyer filed my 1-485(3/2003). Now recently i have called USCIS for address change. First I have not received Address change confirmation letter. Second Could that be the reason that my lawyer hasn't received RFE??

Please help!!

GC2005,
1. Did you get any email after your LUD changes and before you got your finger print notice
2. Did you get the finger print notice or your lawyer.

Thanks.

WillGetGC,

1. Did you get any email after your LUD changes and before you got your finger print notice --> Email is sent only for Status changs and not for LUD changes.

2. Did you get the finger print notice or your lawyer --> I got from lawyer as well as from Vermont Service Center on my postal address.

LUD changed again ...

As my earlier post in the thread says, my 485 LUD changed at the same time my EAD was approved yesterday. Today, 485 & EAD LUD both changed again ... don't understand why they would change the LUD on the EAD after it has been approved?

I-140 AD April 2003
I-485 RD May 2003
FP1 March 24, 2004
LUD 08/10/04, 08/11/04

Munnamobile.....

My wifes LUD has also changed on 8/9. So let us monitor closely as to whats going on. Since I do not have anything that could possibly trigger my I485, I am keeping my fingers crossed.
Also, I have done my FP1 this April 2004 so no reason why they would issue FP2 so early as it should expire late next year.

no updates since the LUD change on 8/9

Hi friends,
I guess the LUD change on 8/9 for me and wife were nothing special. Its 5 days past and since no other updates or indications. I guess its time to wait and keep fingers crossed. But, nevertheless I was very surprised that LUD changed just for a day all of a sudden without any triggers.

Good luck to you all

CIS might have got Name Check done for your cases and they might have updated the file with the info. So basically for this kind of internal checks CIS will not send you any email.

My spouse LUD changed two times in June and again it changed on 8/6/04 and we did our FP on 8/7. My LUD has never changed from the date I filled, so don't really worry about LUD as it will really create lot of anxiety and strain for you. Just pray to GOD that your case gets approved soon.
