I received the receipt number letter, I-797C, which is an "Approval letter" from the USCIS, stating they received Form I-90 Application, used for renewing or replacing a permanent resident card (in my case, replacing it since I lost it). I have an appointment this Friday with an immigrant officer at
2150 Parklake Drive Atlanta, Georgia 30345. I am supposed to bring an ID (passport), 2 passport style photos, and the receipt number letter. For the two passport style photos, do they have to be different pictures or can they be the same? Also, anyone here who went to the local office I am going to go to to get temporary evidence of permanent residency status for employment? What do I have to do in order to get it? What will they ask me? Do I have to pay for the evidence? Will I get it the same day?
Thanks
