Vermont: How long they take to adjudicate a change of nonimmigrant status application

I want to know how long a change of status from B1/B2 to F1 takes in vermont service center. I heard that one gets decision earlier than the dates mentioned on uscis website, even ppl got reply in 1-2 months for such applications. Is it true. If some one on this forum has done change of status plz tell me how long it took

The answer is - it all depends, I know lots of ppl who have been waiting for over 3 months to get a change of status (not always positive though)
