Has anyone been denied re-entry to the US on AP because CBP had inaccurate information showing they had been out of status when in fact they hadn't been?

I figure since they screwed up what date my wife arrived here in the country on her I-94, they can pretty much screw up anything so I can't help being a bit paranoid about her traveling on AP.

Screwing up dates on I-94 is very common and the whole date stamping system is being revamped. You are advised to contact the nearest USCIS office and have the date on I-94 corrected as soon as possible. If you already did that, then there is no reason to worry. If you did not, then you should do it ASAP.

Here is a lil background. My I-94 was messed up couple of years back. One time travelling back to US in 2002, the officer at POE looked at my H1 which was valid till 2004, wrote on my I-94.. Entered US: Jan 2002... Allowed to stay till Jan 2001.... According to the I-94, i was already an overstay even before i got in!!. I did not realise this mistake as i was dead-beat tired after the long flight from home. Then i went to the USCIS office and waited outside in the long long line from 3 AM one freezing morning. My turn came at 930 AM and the officer checked the system and dates were fine. He told me that the system would not allow invalid dates such as one on my I-94 to be entered and that the I-94 was purely a human error. That was some sign of relief. He then corrected my I-94 and i was good to go...
