Grant Medical college Mumbai, India - Verification by ECFMG
My wife is waiting for the last 4 months to get the Orange card to schedule the Step 1 here in USA. Seems that ECFMG is waiting to get the verification response from her college.
Has any one have an experience in following up with the verification?
Should ECFMG verify with the university or with the med college?

The safest way to get your diploma verified is to have this process facilitated with the help of a friend or a relative who would have to personally appear at the appropriate office of your med school and remind the staffers (or registrar) that an inquiry by ECFMG has been made. Most likely it is sitting on somebody\'s desk and nobody cares to handle it. And there is a cost involved - mailing their response back (another reason they don\'t feel like taking care of it). Have your contact offer assistance with that matter too.
