no sir,
i am not going to call any more!!!it makes no difference any way.
i called a couple of lawyers in Va and they told me it takes 18 months for INS to process cases filed for I-485 in virginia and washington D.C area.
i guess VSC goes by Geographical area not by ND. But once again people say different things and i really dont know who is right or wrong. but theses lawyers told me that they have cases from august and october which are still pending with no RFE\'S.
so, i am not going to call VSC nor the senator\'s office. i just want to relax and go to gym tonight. then a couple of shots and go back to work again tomorrow. i will let you know if i hear anything new.
maybe we should create a forum ask people what state they come from?
what do you think?

this is offcourse a new one to hear... wow,how many variables i have to match up, PD, ND, BIRTH COUNTRY, STATE I LIVE, SERVICE CENTER, EB CATEGORY AND SO ON... AND ON....

Virgina is loaded with immigrants and lots of them work for computer companies in Reston Center. so i knew about this before and even if you call this number 1-800-375-5283 they ask for your zip code and they tell you exactly what is the wait time for your case to be processed. but who knows what VSC is upto? god knows. somehow we will find out in the future what VSC does??

Hmm..a new theory huh?? Well I would have added this to my list since I am also from VA (Arlington), but recently my friend with ND 3/2000 got approval for himself and his wife. He lives in Chantily VA. Maybe they have a different officer for each state and the officer for VA is on vacation or just a plain old redneck.

But yeah tonite I will wash down my sorrows with some Miller Lite and watch the great NY Knicks beat the crap out of Toronto.

Have a good weekend, 2 more days to add to our delays because of this weekend. I am counting hours for them to receive my RFE and ultimately make a decision. Mystery is killing me.

Mahasangram, I did call VSC on Tuesday. Atlast my file is in the processing area and according to the IIO it will be assigned to an officer anytime soon. She said it will be assigned within two business days to an officer, after the file has arrived in the processing area. And at that point officer has one-month to decide on the case.

Hopefully my ordeal will be over in the next month or so. (If i do not get an RFE??)
I am expecting an RFE because i changed address (moved to CA from PA) and i am NIW.

I will call them again on Tuesday or Wed to check and will let you know.
