Coming up on 5 years in the Us. Eligible for Citizenship in December. 5 years(of paying taxes and owning a business) not living with my wife and now little 7 month old boy who has had complications and health scares but all request for expedition denied.

The gov needs to know that we are real pepple behind these petitions and not just numbers real families who this process is brutal on. When we see people skip the line and cone in illegally, it breaks our hesrt but they should know this is the legal route they rant and rave about. This js tough on people. The incentives for doing it legaly are just not there.

This whole thing needs a major over haul in that system. Families are weeping..
 
Why do you have to wait for visa numbers? Is it because you petitioned your spouse to immigrate as the spouse of a permanent resident in F2A? Why couldn't your spouse immigrate as your derivative beneficiary? Is it because you married after you became a PR? Or because you yourself immigrated as a derivative beneficiary?
