I got the magic emails today at around 1:00 PM EST.

I sent an email to fbi sometime in Nov, 2004 and got a reply back in mid March, 2005

congrates veeru, did u send expedite request or any other way to inform uscis about name being cleared..mine was cleared on apr 15 still waiting.. pls advice

were there any LUD changes prior to getting approved?

also do you know when USCIS initiated your name check?

Well this is what I have observed, it normally takes about 2 months or so from name check getting cleared to approval of I485. I think the way it works is
1. name check is cleared
2. results get back in uscis database in about 3 weeks or so
3. Takes about 2 weeks or so for the case to get assigned to an officer
4. Takes about 3-4 weeks for officer to approve the case

I know this can vary from person to person but I have observed this trend in a few cases including mine. Of course I am assuming that Fp is done.

no change in LUD dogbert99.

I do not know when they initiated my name check but I know I got married during this process and my wife's name check was done ( as per fbi email ) within a week of her notice date. So I am assuming that it is requested a couple of weeks after you file for 485.
