Just wondering if anybody can share their experience with Vericella vaccation.

I just called doc, she indicated this vaccation is not neceassry if I had Chicken Pox as a child. Is this OK with INS? or is it a must to take this vaccation regardless?

Appreciate your inputs. Thanks and have a nice day.

It's varicella. You have to show the proof that you either had the vaccinations or that you have the antibodies which is done by doing blood titers. If your antibody count is low they may ask you to do the vaccination. In this case you may still not need it medically, but legally you'll be required to do it. What I don't understand is how whoever did your medical could have missed that.

Just to be on the safe side, I would go back to the Civil Surgeon you saw and demand that he/she would give you either the proof of vaccinations or presence of antibodies at "free of charge".

If your Civil Surgeon plays dumb or is of no help, I would even go farther to report this individual to USCIS for gross incompetence.
