Validity of L2 Work Permit

I have an L2 visa with work permit. It was taken based on my application to INS with a I94 valid till feb 2004. Subsequently,I went on a vacation and returned. New I94 also has the same validity till feb 2004. Do I need to reapply for the work permit or is it valid?

I have similar problem similar to yours. I wonder if you were able to get any more information.

I have EAD based on L2 visa valid till Apr 2005. But, I am planning to visit India in Aug 2004 and my I-94 date might change.
a) Does this make my EAD invalid and do I have to reapply ?
b) Is it invalid to work with my current EAD after India visit ?

Any information you have related to this, it will greatly help us.

EAD issued incident to L2 status is valid as long as you maintain L2 status. No need to get new EAD each time you get a new I-94.
