I have H1b visa from my organization since Nov 2010, I travelled twice and returned to India Mar 2014, I-797 expired on Oct 2014.
I worked from India and left the organization on Apr 2022, joined another Europe Based organization.
Now my spouse travelled to USA on Nov 2022 on his own H1b visa and on his dependent visa (H4) I travelled along with kids in Mar 2023. I am searching for jobs in USA but as H4 visa holder.
Will my H1b be valid (which got expired in 2014) to transfer to another organization and file for extension if I get a job.
How can I know whether my visa is still active to file out of cap?
