Validity of EAD

We applied for EAD on 12/05/03...and got our I-EAD at charlotte office from 03/16/04 valid for 8 months resulting the expiration of 11/17/04... since it is expiring in next 3 months time.. we applied for renewal of EAD for both myself and spouce. To my surprise.. we received the EAD valid only for remaining 3 months.. what does this mean.. should we reapply again in DEC.. GURUS pls advice.

Looks like your case will be approved by that time. But in any case file for new EAD in Dec 2004. Also send an email to Prakash Khatri stating this unique processing style. Do not forget to mention about iEAD. This way you will get a better official reply about whatever is happening to your case, which you may quote later, if you have to renew your EAD.
